About Biogas-Fond
Hi! We are Biogas-Fond, a start-up that aims to immediately and sustainably reduce environmental pollution from exhaust gases in the atmosphere.
Our company was established in October 2021 and fuses the experience of two established companies – MEBA Biogas GmbH and Carbon Innovations GmbH. MEBA develops and sells technology for processing biogas plant residues whilst Carbon Innovations develops technologies for cleaning up environmentally damaging combustion processes.
We are based in the “Technologie Centrum Westbayern” (TCW) in Noerdlingen, Bavaria, which offers excellent infrastructure for start-ups and allows us to work closely with the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences located at the TCW as well. Additionally, we work with a number of other universities and test laboratories.

Leo van Bree, co-founder and CEO of Biogas-Fond GmbH
Leo is an experienced managing director and sales expert. Leo is a qualified electrical engineer and holds an MBA. He has been CEO of a listed company and managing director of both multi-national corporations and family businesses. In addition to his work as CEO of Biogas-Fond, he is currently managing director of MEBA Biogas GmbH and BioG Biogas GmbH and is also a member of various advisory boards.
